Membership Types
The club provides two levels of membership
To be a Full Member you must own a suitable four wheel drive vehicle and hold a driver’s licence. Basic Driver Training is provided only to the Full Members. Partners and family members of the Full Member are categorised as Family Members and may undertake Basic Driver training by becoming full members but pay only the annual membership fee component (not the joining fee) and may revert to family membership after 12 months. Details of all membership entitlements are provided at Section 3 (1) of the club by-laws.

To participate in extended driver training, a member cannot be in the first 12 months of their full membership and must have previously completed the basic driver training course. Extended driver training courses include sand and water, winching, recovery, and advanced driver training courses, and any other courses introduced by the driver training unit from time to time.
You, your partner and family members can use the club’s property for camping and recreation, and will have full member-level access to the website.
In addition to the categories listed above, we also have life members The committee can award a life membership to a member who has been a member continuously for at least 10 years and who has, in the opinion of the committee, contributed significantly to the endeavours of the club. Family membership is extended to persons who are the spouse, partner or a dependent under the age of 21 years of a full member and who live under the same roof.
All club members can participate in all trips and social events*.

If you are a returning member, you do not need to repay the joining can simply renew your membership using the renewal form located here.
*Participation in some club trips requires the completion of mandatory 4wd driver training courses provided by the club. See information on Trip Grading here.
